The Highland House Hotel Amsterdam

The rooms are well-decorated and stylish, with comfortable beds and top-quality amenities. The staff are attentive, polite, and speak excellent English. Guests appreciate the handwritten notes and personalized touches that add a special touch to their stay.

Some guests have mentioned that there can be a bit of water noise when other apartments use water, particularly in the basement apartment.

I was pleasantly surprised by the fantastic equipment in our room at Highland House. We had airplay and even Bluetooth speakers in the large shower room. The beds were super comfy, and the hotel had a great location in the city center. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel is perfectly located right in the center of the city, near the main sites, but on a quiet street. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfy beds and stylish decor. The bathroom is modern and the shower is brilliant. The staff is extremely polite and helpful, providing great service. Plus, the hotel offers free bottled water in the mini bar as a little bonus.

The water noise from other apartments using water could be a bit inconvenient, although it may only happen in the basement apartment.

The lack of natural light in some of the rooms, as they were situated below street level. It felt a bit like being in a dungeon, with no windows at eye level and black painted walls.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city, within walking distance to all the main attractions and just 600m from the railway station. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were always helpful and polite.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect and it was near everything we needed to make our visit more comfortable. The staff here was very accommodating and provided great room service. We appreciated the airport shuttle service that was available to take us to and from the hotel. The room was soundproofed and had a comfortable seating area, which made it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring.

The location of this place is excellent, right in the center near shops and places to eat. We also loved the clean and comfortable room with its unique theme. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, recommending fabulous restaurants. The amenities, such as the AC and fast wifi, made our stay even more enjoyable.

As a disabled traveler, I really appreciated the quirky and welcoming interior of the room. The surround sound and smart TV with Netflix were fantastic amenities. The staff were exceptionally helpful and warm, making me want to stay longer than just one night.

The room themes were impressive, with well-thought-out furniture pieces that were both stylish and functional. the hotel's location was a major plus, tucked away in a quiet side street but just steps away from food, shops, and attractions. the staff was friendly and helpful, always available to answer questions and even offering umbrellas for rainy days.

The lack of a view from the room was a minor downside, but it was not a major concern since we were more focused on exploring the city. Additionally, the room could have benefited from a shower door for added privacy.

I loved the stylish decor and the charming ambiance of the hotel. The building, though old, has been beautifully renovated and maintained. The room I stayed in was small but had a unique theme and design. The beds were very comfortable, and I was welcomed with chocolates in the room. The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to a bustling street with shops and restaurants. The friendly and helpful staff at the sister hotel, Highlanders Amsterdam, were available for any assistance needed, including luggage storage. Despite a few minor inconveniences, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfy and stylish stay.
